  10.        These release notes describe Array Services in the Array
  11.        Services software release from Silicon Graphicsr, Inc.
  12.        Array Services consist of several tools and libraries for
  13.        managing and administering an array of two or more systems.
  14.  
  15.        These services include:

  17.           +o Correlation of related processes running on multiple
  18.             nodes for job control, accounting, performance
  19.             monitoring, and so on.
  20.  
  21.           +o A configuration database containing information about
  22.             the individual nodes in one or more arrays
  23.  
  24.           +o Array commands are commands that can be distributed
  25.             among all of the nodes in an array.
  26.  
  27.           +o ArrayView, a simple graphical tool that monitors all of
  28.             the machines in an array.
  29.  
  30.        Note:  Packaged with your software is a separate sheet that
  31.               contains the Software License Agreement.  This
  32.               software is provided to you solely under the terms
  33.               and conditions of the Software License Agreement.

  85.        After you install the online release notes for a product
  86.        (the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s subsystem), you can view the release notes on
  87.        your screen.

  89.        Note:  You can read the online release notes for most
  90.               products before installing the software.  Refer to
  91.               the booklet in your CD-ROM case for more information.

  93.        If you have a graphics system, select ``Release Notes'' from
  94.        the Help submenu of the Toolchest. This displays the
  95.        _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) graphical browser for the online release notes.

  97.        Refer to the _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for information on
  98.        options to this command.

  100.        If you do not have a graphics system, you can use the
  101.        _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s command.  Refer to the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for
  102.        accessing the online release notes.

  107.        After you install the arraysvcs rpm, you can view the README
  108.        file containing the relnotes in a file name similar to
  109.        /usr/share/doc/arraysvcs-3.6-1/README.relnotes.  There is
  110.        also information on where to find relnotes documentation in
  111.        the description section of the rpm.  To view this, type
  112.        "rpm -qi sgi-arraysvcs".
